Reynolds and Reynolds Canada and Motoinsight have announced an agreement that will enable dealers that use the Reynolds ERA-IGNITE dealership management system (DMS) to seamlessly access Motoinsight’s automotive data for customer incentives in the Canadian marketplace. The Motoinsight data will help ensure that dealers operating on ERA-IGNITE will have timely access to the latest information for vehicle residual values, standard financing rates, and vehicle incentives when working with a customer on a vehicle purchase or lease agreement.
"The traditional car dealership must learn to evolve," says Andrew Tai, CEO of Motoinsight and Unhaggle.com. "You'll see more of a rebalancing in the next few years, more urban storefronts that are closer to customers, with more reliance on digital technology to facilitate the shopping process as opposed to the traditional dealerships.

“We will be launching a program call Hyundai Express this summer that takes a lot of Motoinsight technology that we have used for Genesis and applies it to Hyundai.”
Soft-launched in Canada in November, the new luxury brand from Hyundai planted its flag in the digital landscape with its Genesis at Home program. The strategy allows for an entirely online retail process including scheduling a demonstration and vehicle test drive at a location of the customer’s choosing, complete lease or finance paperwork, deposit and ordering the new vehicle through the digital platform.
