Motoinsight, the leader in digital car buying experiences, today announced the launch of a new version of its digital retailing platform MotoCommerce™ for franchised and independent automotive dealers. This technology was previously available to automotive OEMs exclusively but can now enable individual dealerships and dealership groups to deliver best-in-class customer experiences.
Reynolds and Reynolds Canada and Motoinsight have announced an agreement that will enable dealers that use the Reynolds ERA-IGNITE dealership management system (DMS) to seamlessly access Motoinsight’s automotive data for customer incentives in the Canadian marketplace. The Motoinsight data will help ensure that dealers operating on ERA-IGNITE will have timely access to the latest information for vehicle residual values, standard financing rates, and vehicle incentives when working with a customer on a vehicle purchase or lease agreement.

Soft-launched in Canada in November, the new luxury brand from Hyundai planted its flag in the digital landscape with its Genesis at Home program. The strategy allows for an entirely online retail process including scheduling a demonstration and vehicle test drive at a location of the customer’s choosing, complete lease or finance paperwork, deposit and ordering the new vehicle through the digital platform.
